C.H. Robinson is looking to add a 2nd shift warehouse supervisor to our team. Join our team and take charge of daily operations in our sprawling 400,000 square foot Atlanta facility. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for maintaining efficiency, top-notch service quality, and fostering continuous improvement while coordinating seamlessly across functions to exceed customer expectations. You'll showcase your logistics prowess by optimizing staff and resources to meet customer service level agreements (SLAs). Your role will include leading a para-professional team focused on maximizing efficiency and profitability in a dynamic, highly transactional environment. You'll also provide day-to-day leadership to our dedicated C.H. Robinson and contingent associates. Responsibilities:

• Oversee distribution and warehouse operations, ensuring safety, quality, and continuous improvement

• Execute daily operational goals, maintaining customer service excellence

• Lead assigned functions, providing overall guidance and direction

• Efficiently manage resources and budgets to meet objectives

• Monitor and analyze metrics, recommending enhancements as needed

• Generate comprehensive performance reports and customer feedback

• Develop and retain a skilled workforce through cross-training and mentorship

• Deliver constructive feedback, coaching, and maintain performance records

• Provide comprehensive training in competencies and technical skills

• Facilitate effective communication with management and across departments while maintaining discretion with sensitive information

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of distribution/warehouse/logistics experience

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Minimum 2 years of experience in making materials flow.

• MUST be able to work 2nd shift, Monday – Friday from 2:30pm – 12:00am and outside of business hours/days as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• 2 years of supervisory experience

• Exposure to WMS

• Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite of programs

• Ability to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste

• Successfully managed handling, storage, and distribution

• Forklift license based off site requirements

• Manual Handling awareness
