POSITION SUMMARY
C.H. Robinson’s Accounts Receivable team is a fast-paced, process-driven environment, responsible for multiple facets of the Accounts Receivable function. The Associate Accounts Receivable Representative will be responsible for ensuring invoices are accurate issued in a timely and efficient manner. They will research problems and resolve standard disputes in order to ensure important deadlines are met.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:
- End to End Accounts Receivable activities including bank reconciliations and AR allocations plus investigations on customer accounts
- Support off-shore allocation team to ensure accurate and on time account allocations
- Reconciles customer accounts to ensure update-to-date statements are issued
- Responds to inquiries from customers or clients and researches and resolves concerns or discrepancies
- Supports ideas for process improvement
- Develops professional relationships with internal and external partners, maintain open lines of communication and build rapport by providing timely and professional service
- Continues to develop skills and build upon knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Advanced Excel level
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and with Banking experience
- Ability to perform accurate and deliver on time reconciliations of customer accounts and is a problem sovler
Preferred:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Working knowledge of Oracle
- Ability to perform in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
- Solid attention to detail and ability to work well within a deadline driven environment
- Perform functions efficiently and accurately
- Effective and flexible communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
