CH Robinson is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Supervisor to ensure operational excellence by organizing, planning, coordinating, and controlling team operations. The main focus of this position is to develop people, monitor performance, and support the day-to-day needs of our customers through superior operations.

Key Responsibilities:

People Management:

Train and develop employees to achieve their full potential.

Establish and track goals, including short-term (6 months), mid-term (1 year), and long-term (career goals).

Provide input and/or conduct mid-year and year-end performance reviews.

Offer input on compensation decisions.

Contribute to staffing forecasting and decision-making.

Communicate and educate employees on corporate compliance policies.

Operational Management:

Organize, plan, coordinate, and control specific phases of team operations.

Prioritize and delegate work, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.

Develop and document operational processes within the team and interactions with other branch teams.

Document workflows and job descriptions for individual team members.

Collaborate with management to identify, develop, and monitor metrics to measure team and individual performance.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of transportation experience.

Experience in supervisory, management, or leadership roles (direct or indirect).

Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and influence others, setting a positive example and fostering a productive environment.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strategic and creative thinking abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
