ContextCampari Group has centralized and partially outsourced its operations related to Master data processes, including Materials Master Data (MMD).In this scenario, the Campari Global Business Service Organization (GBS) is responsible for the governance of the process, ensuring the excellence of the service delivered by Global Business Outsourcer (BPO) vs. clear and transparent SLA and OLA and the continuous improvement of master data processes and tools to ensure the highest standard in terms of effectiveness and efficiency.Campari Business Functions remain owners of the data and have the responsibility to timely provide BPO all the information required to correctly create new SKUs in the system, adopting defined processes and tools.
General Description Of The RoleIn this context, the Regional Master Data Lead is a key role in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Supply Chain organisation and takes ownership of the Master Data processes and requirements for the Region. This role will be the key point of contact within APAC for all material master data through new product development, system updates, new legal entities, acquisitions and integrations with external business partners.
Key Responsibilities And Activities
- Ensure the correct creation of new materials in the region:
- Support GBS in identifying and keeping updated the list of Camparistas who receive and fill-in the workflow for new materials creation
- For all the cases where he/ she is the receiver of the workflow for new materials creation, collect all required information and fill-in the form
- Together with Global Planning CoE and GBS, define rules for automatic fill-in of data (whenever possible) and keep related tables updated
- Ensure the continuous maintenance and accuracy of planning-relevant masterdata:
- Ensure governance on periodic masterdata updates (e.g. quarterly review of routings), sending calendar and data collection forms to data owners and checking that all information are properly filled
- Perform periodic quality checks on planning relevant data (e.g. percentage of SKUs with blank fields, material status to identify inactive materials), and define corrective actions to improve quality
- Details and create/maintain bills of materials (BOM) and associated tasks.
- Carry out testing on new SAP functionality relating to master data as and when required
- Updating inventory and forecasting master data and periodical data cleansing.
- Compiling reports to ensure high level data integrity
- Manage the master data requirements for the introduction of new product lines
- Manage the master data requirements for the deletion and replacement of products
- Monitor NPDs, Deletions, Product Changes (with relation to master data), and be the key communicator of these changes to wider business and logistics providers
- Be the key point of contact for external Data groups (eg// GS1)
- Collaborate with Global Planning CoE and GBS in defining rules for automatic data quality checks

- Excel/Teams based project tracking
- Customer based product submission portals
- Hands on user of the SAP MM & PP modules (or similar) with solid understanding of how two create and maintain master data and BOM’s
- Hands on experience with materials requirements planning (MRP) highly desirable
- Industry knowledge advantageous, FMCG background required
- SAP APO or IBP experience is advantageous
- Able to multi-task various projects at one time
- Structured and detailed in their approach to tasks and projects
- High level of attention to detail
- Demonstated ability to work independently to organize and priorotise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and following through within a fast paced (matrix) environment with multiple and competing demands
- Ability to manage desired outcomes
- Advanced Microsoft Excel user with extensive experience using Formulae, Pivot Tables, V-look ups
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key vendors/suppliers
- Well developed interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with suppliers, customers, management, technology specialists and peers.
- Fluent English is mandatory
