If so, you’d better keep reading…In line with the Procurement mission, the Global Media Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing and operational procurement processes for Global Media category, responsible for defining and implementing of the sourcing strategies and procurement activities for the Marketing and Commercial Categories.The objective of this role is to ensure an efficient, effective, and continuous supply of Media services for Campari and to support the design and the implementation of the most appropriate sourcing solution through negotiation and contracting processes, constantly investigating opportunities to improve our cost-base in a sustainable way.Under the guidance of the Global Marketing and Media Procurement Director, this position will play a critical role in implementing business solutions and best practices in support of the Global Strategic Marketing and Commercial Teams. Key Responsibilities And ActivitiesThe Global Media Procurement Manager is responsible for the following: Category Management
  • Responsible for delivering and regularly updating the global Media category strategy in alignment with key stakeholders globally and locally to apply the strategy on a regional/local level.
  • Conduct regular overviews showing spend and volumes by sub-category, by supplier.
  • Perform external analysis describing the industry, trends, drivers, important industry insights, suppliers, “as-is” and future trends.
  • Implement plan (project pipeline): including initiatives, timeline and value generated (productivity and other KPIs).
  • Define how each of the main suppliers will be managed and what will be the approach.
  • Conduct category risk management. Map the risks identified during the external and internal analysis and address / discuss the level of risk with respective stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed/consulted.
Innovation
  • Leads the procurement process in providing solutions to fulfill needs for sourcing projects.
  • Proactively provides insights on market trends, industry development and organizes supplier presentations and ensures follow-up on the agreed action plans.
  • Leads in the sustainability journey.
Sourcing
  • Negotiating the best total value for the entrusted categories including supplier selection, pricing model and contract negotiation.
  • Pre-aligning with the budget stakeholders, he/she prepares all the relevant documents for the tendering processes (e.g. RFI/RFQ/RFP, Supplier Code, Corporate Communication Code, NDA, Solvency check, etc.).
  • Define the scope of spend and collect, identify and validate the requirements of stakeholders
  • Perform detailed internal and external analysis of markets and suppliers.
  • Develop, prioritize and validate sourcing strategy.
  • Ensures contract/legal agreements are saved in a shared repository and monitor the appropriate contract implementation ensuring compliance with terms agreed.
  • Define supplier hierarchy and carry out activities necessary for supplier and material coding.
  • Responsible for implementing and executing processes to ensure supplier compliance with contract language and agreed KPIs (including negotiation of repayment, refund, or incremental supply in case of non-compliance).
  • Define and implement productivity opportunities delivering value beyond savings approach
Contracting
  • Ensure signed contracts are in place for managed spend categories at the correct authority level & following all contract template guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with the legal team globally and locally when required and ensure relevant legal support is obtained at the beginning of sourcing activities.
  • Ensure effective management of category contracting activities.
Supplier Relationship Management
  • Responsible for implementing and executing processes to ensure supplier relationships derive the best value via QBR for lead strategic agencies.
  • Implement and manage effective well-documented Supplier Relationship Agreements reducing the possibility of confusion or disputes.
  • Effective evaluation and management of potential risks in the supplier-based (financial, reputational, technical and value add capabilities.
Functional leadership
  • Contributes to the continuous development and improvement of procurement processes, procedures and tools.
  • Contribute to the development of category-related functional skills of the Marketing Procurement Team.
  • Actively participate and support the implementation of the Marketing Procurement House.
Compliance
  • Ensure that items purchased meet Food Safety and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements and specifications, as well as Campari’s Communication principles.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Global Marketing and Media Procurement Director, Global Consumer Engagement Capabilities department, Global Marketing & Trade Marketing, Local Media and Digital Managers, Brand Managers, Legal Office, IT and Finance. External: Media agencies, Suppliers, Media auditors, consultants, industry bodies Experience Required
  • 7+ years of Sourcing experience in Marketing Services category at a regional or global level within a similar company structure.
  • 3+ years of Media procurement category experience or strong experience in a Global media agency/media auditing agency, or as a Media Manager on client side.
  • Strong knowledge in negotiation with agencies primary focus on Media and Digital, as well as PR and Creative.
  • Proficient in utilizing Enterprise-class systems such as SAP and or Coupa.
EDUCATION
  • University degree in Business/Marketing, Supply Chain/Procurement/Sourcing, or a related field.
  • Digital Media and Marketing qualifications.

  • Fluent in English. A second language is a plus.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and familiarity with SAP.
