Key Responsibilities And ActivitiesThe main areas of responsibility are the following:
- Accountable for the overall consistency, stability, health, and performance of the Azure Cloud Tenant of Campari, and act as internal technical reference for any Azure-related topic.
- Manages 3rd party resources to resolve any technical problem related to Azure.
- Review the proposed strategy and planning for service modernization.
- Accountable for overall health of the platform which includes all monitoring and support.
- Contribute to establish continuous improvement mindsets for key IT processes within the organization.
- Continuous evaluation of possible corrective action to identify weaknesses and supporting better performance.
- Work closely with the Cloud Architect, functional Architects, Enterprise Architects and Cyber Security Team, to ensure adherence to Campari cloud policies, processes and standards. Accountable for the execution of security remediation plans when needed.
- Manage Audit requirements and Auditor relationship for the Area in scope.
- Oversee operational and service management processes to ensure quality, security, efficiency, and agility goals are achieved.
- Working with Global IT Service Integration Manager and the external providers to ensure the proper onboarding of new services into the Service Portfolio.
- Continual improvement of license management, ensuring license compliance for the area of responsibility.
- Manage Azure Advisor recommendations to improve scoring in all categories.
- Keep Azure costs under control by leveraging tools and best practices in a proactive manner.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft SQL Server or other database management systems in Cloud.
- Design, deploy, and maintain the lifecycle management of Cloud components, proactively planning and proposing replacement of EOL components or adoption of newer technologies.
- Plan and execute patching and upgrade schedules for operating systems and associated software.
- Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery processes for IaaS and PaaS services.
- Provide expertise on Cloud-related projects and initiatives.
- 5+ years of proven experience in IT in a multinational company or in an IT Consultancy firm focused on technology services.
- Solid technical skills
- At least 5 years of experience with implementing, managing, and operating systems in an enterprise cloud computing environment based on Microsoft Azure. Knowledge of Amazon AWS or other Hyperscalers is a plus.
- Experience with Azure Log Analytics.
- Experience in management of Microsoft Windows and Linux-based systems.
- Extensive experience in backup solutions.
- Proven experience with PowerShell and Azure automation with Bicep. Knowledge of Terraform or Ansible is a plus.
- Strong understanding of High Availability, Disaster recovery and Business Continuity measures.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.
- Desired experience in a service management role.
- Have an excellent understanding of all the key elements and processes relating to IT service management.
- Passionate about Service quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong vendor management and partner relation skills.
- Experience of working in a matrix organization.
- Familiarity with cross cultural issues.
- Project management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Availability to travel for short period of time.
- Knowledge of RISE with SAP is considered a plus.
