Campari Group is today the sixth-largest player worldwide in the premium spirits industry. General Description Of The RoleThe role entails the following responsibilities:
  • Negotiation, drafting and management of Italian and international contracts - including but not limited to services, consultancy, works and real estate agreements - in connection with the following Group Functions: HR, Public Affairs, Sustainability & Corporate Communication, Finance, Treasury & Tax, Global Brand House.
  • Managing and advising business functions on corporate and contractual matters.
  • Drafting of powers of attorney and management of the respective system.
  • Legal assistance in extraordinary transactions (capital increases and reductions, mergers and spin-offs, M&A, etc.) involving the companies belonging to Campari Group.
  • Assisting and/or supporting in litigation cases (civil, administrative, and criminal), in coordination with external counsels when necessary.
Occasionally, the Legal Counsel may also assist their Manager in activities related to corporate law based on their own skills and experiences, such as:
  • Corporate governance, with a specific focus on stock exchange regulations and applicable regulatory frameworks (Italian and Dutch), including support in the preparation of the legal contents of the annual and interim financial reports ( e.g. governance report, remuneration report and sustainability report).
  • Performing corporate governance duties for the listed parent company and for the Italian companies of the Group, including drafting notices of call and minutes for the meetings of the boards of director, shareholders' meetings and other corporate bodies.
Required qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Law.
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal department of a multinational company or a reputable law firm, with exposure to an international environment. Admission to the Italian Bar is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work on various legal matters and adapt to different contexts.
  • Ability to fluently speak, negotiate, and draft agreements in English.
  • Excellent relationship skills to collaborate effectively within a team and with other functions and departments.
  • Strong prioritization and ability to work under pressure.
