General Description Of The RoleThe Operations Technician is responsible for the operation of machines at the Campari Derrimut Production Facility. Key Responsibilities And Activities
  • Starting up the machine in accordance with the start-up checklist
  • Reviewing the specification sheet and ensuring that all raw material and blends match
  • Feeding raw materials into the machine
  • Running the machine according to standard operating procedures
  • Escalating production downtime
  • Recording production inputs and outputs
  • Perform basic troubleshooting activities
  • Performing changeovers on machines
  • Shutting down or running out of machines
  • Performing autonomous maintenance activities
  • Performing quality checks to ensure products are to the required specification
  • General housekeeping of all work stations and broader production faciltity
  • Adherence to safety procedures
  • Forklift operations
Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG/beverages.
  • Understanding of Goods Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP is desirable
Education / Professional Qualifications
  • Minimum Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent

  • Numerical competence, including addition, multiplication, division and subtraction
  • Verbal and written communication competence
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills across multiple machines and production lines
  • Flexible and cooperative in meeting the changing needs of the plant
  • ‘Can-do’ attitude with a problem solving mindset
  • Ability to work with others in a team environment
  • Reliable,punctual and dependable
  • Current forklift license or willingness to obtain
