General Description Of The Role

The Corporate Finance & Brand Valuations Manager reports to the Corporate Finance & Brand Valuations Director and is an integral part of the Group Finance function based at the Group’s Headquarter in Italy.

Mission/Objectives

The mission of this role is support enterprise valuations for business development initiatives, in particular financial valuations for M&A activities as well as brand valuation and intangible assets impairment testing.

Key Responsibilities And Activities

  • Conducting business planning and financial modelling for valuations of potential targets, coordinate contributions from other functions of the Group
  • Supporting the financial due diligence process and the preparation of financial documents and statements in accordance with the company’s governance policies, regulatory requirements, and capital markets best practices
  • Coordinate with the global and regional business integration teams for post transaction activities
  • Perform intangible assets impairment tests and brand valuations, including post-M&A Purchase Price Allocation (PPA) assessments.
  • Support Corporate Banking function in capital markets activities related to long-term debt issues and any potential rights issue in the Equity Capital Market.

Internal: Business Development, Finance departments (FP&A, IFRS Consolidated Financial Reporting, Investor Relations, Corporate Banking, Tax), Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, Legal, GBS, Corporate Communications, CEO/CFOO

External: Financial advisors, Auditors, Market Regulators, Investors.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics/STEM field of studies with a major in Financial Markets/Statistics
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Corporate Finance/ Financial Valuations role is a must have

Skills:

Professional Competencies

  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and actuarial mathematics is a must have
  • Thorough knowledge of economic and financial principles (financial statements and balance sheets)
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to summarize and highlight key findings.
  • Familiarity with business processes in the FMCG industry is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of another language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
