Main Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for the administration of inventory and planning departments

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain DRAMS parameters to run Long Term Forecast and supply Feasibility Identification of alternative Scenarios (Low, Mid, High) and Simulation in DRAMS
  • Simulate DRAMS
  • Surplus and Deficit reduction
  • Support SC Local DRAMs Key User in evaluation Long Term Planning Process to evaluate scenarios to be simulated
  • An understanding of HMRC law
  • Experience in the use of EMCS
  • Provide support and back up for Inventory manager and also the finished goods planning and logistic department
  • Maintain Inventory movements within DRAMS
  • Work with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field
  • A self-starter who is adaptable, good at navigating change and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to tell a story using factual data, analytics and professional communication skills to convey results to senior leadership; both positive and negative
  • Able to stand your ground and be persuasive to achieve targeted measurable results and drive strategic mission of organization

Professional Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office suite of products, particularly heavy in Excel
  • ERP system experience

Experience Required:

  • Awareness and understanding of Aged liquid maturing process
  • Relevant experience in similar role within Whisky Industry, specifically warehousing and spirit handling
  • Strong Planning Skills
  • Knowledge of integrated SC operating model
  • HMRC knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written skills, organizational and time-management abilities, effective inter-personal skills, and the ability to work with personnel at all organizational levels
