General Description Of The Role

The Supply Response Senior Manager Jamaica directs and oversees the supply plan, inventory policies, production, capacity planning, co-packing planning, and detailed scheduling. She / he will be responsible to ensure availability of inventory to meet forecast and orders from customers for Jamaica as well as Globally (exports).

She / He will lead, coach and develop her / his regional team of 2 direct reports. She/He will be involved on key projects / programs that advance initiatives and develop capabilities supporting Campari’s growth and productivity improvements. She / he is a key role in driving and supporting the S&OP process and all related supply and inventory process and improvement projects as well as the success implementation of the SAP IBP project.

She / He will be the process lead for the S&OP Supply Review and S&OP Plan Alignment for Jamaica on supply as well as being a key contributor on the full E2E process. She / he will also be the process lead for the S&OE meeting for Jamaica.

In addition, She / He is responsible for supply planning on LTP Jamaica processes, acting as the key go to person on the yearly, monthly and weekly processes.

Contributes to achieving sales by ensuring on time and in full supply against production requirements plans in the short, medium and long terms. Responsible for master data integrity in systems (run rates, liquid capacity, and labor capacity), system and process adherence, coordinating data information flows, setting benchmarks, and constantly looking for ways to reduce costs and improve lead times.

Mission/Objectives

In line with the Supply Planning mission, the objectives of this role is to ensure that inventory levels of finished goods drive optimal availability, to optimize the production plans for efficiency and accuracy, in order to provide effective and continuous supply of goods for Campari Markets locally, regionally and globally. She/He will support the design and the implementation of the most appropriate strategies to improve service level and inventory performance in a sustainable way.

Context and degree of change

In line with Americas Supply Planning organizational structure optimizations. This function will consolidate Production Planning to a single contact who will report into the Senior Director, Supply Planning Americas, improving the management of a highly critical area within Supply Planning. This function will ensure same ways of working within Jamaica.

This role will take over all supply planning and the LTP for Jamaica on yearly, monthly and weekly touchpoints. The role will undertake significant challenges to bring stability to Jamaica which has a very low maturity level, as well as bring process and system adherence to Canada which is another major challenge.

The degree of change is significant as it involves focusing on harmonizing processes, increased system usage and adherence as well as implementing and enabling a fact based performance monitoring culture. In addition, the leader will support, coach and help the organization and his/her team to ensure production planning is optimizing inventory and manufacturing costs. She / He will lead a diverse group of regionally located individuals who will need to become more relevant to drive the required improvements on production planning and the manufacturing processes.

To job holder will manage the following team members (in several countries) as well as different number of manufacturing facilities, vendors and materials as follows:

  • Team members: 2 direct.
  • Number of manufacturing sites (internal & external): 1 internal.
  • Number of production lines: 6 (internal).
  • Number of finished goods: 187 (Jamaica).
  • Inventory value: 23 M EUR Kingston (Finished Goods).

Key Responsibilities And Activities

Team Leadership

  • Lead Manage a team of 2 direct reports. She / he will to conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback on professional development. Along with guidance on providing the same coaching, and feedback as well as overseeing and approving performance reviews for the indirect reports
  • Oversee detailed planning activities for Manufacturing sites (internal and external) on finished goods.
  • To manage stakeholders locally, regionally and globally on production planning outputs as well support the LTP process for Jamaica including regional and global teams.
  • Use good business judgment to identify risks and opportunities in the supply plan, execute necessary changes, and communicate to stakeholders in a timely manner.

The expected base salary for this position, based in New York City ranges from $124,000 - $156,000. The range will vary if outside of this location. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
