Job Title: Bar Supervisor

Reports to: WTVC Operations Manager


The Bar Supervisor supports the Operations Manager in all Wild Turkey Brand House cocktail program operations.

The Bar Supervisor schedule Bartenders and helps support management in the day-to-day operations of the brand house cocktail program. They will help monitor and supervise employees to achieve goals that contribute to the growth of the organization. The BarSupervisor motivates and inspires the team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication and a passion to bring sales growth to the brand.

Key Responsibilities And Activities

  • Works directly with the Brand House Management team to support day to day operational needs
    • Drives sales by responding to customer needs and suggestive selling
    • Processes and manages inventory
    • Works with Retail Supervisor to ensure bar supplies and inventory are ordered and stored accordingly
    • Assists with merchandising and visual displays for 3 separate bars in Brand House
    • Performs store opening and closing duties
    • Oversees sales reports related to cocktail sales utilizing the Point of Sale system
    • Works as bartender in cocktail bar as needed
    • Helps create and develop cocktail menu
    • Trains bartending staff as needed
  • Delivers excellent customer service
    • Greets and assists customers
    • Responds to customer inquiries and complaints
    • Assists guests in choosing cocktails
    • Processes cash and card payments
    • Ensures cocktail bars are fully prepped and stocked daily
    • Ensures cocktail areas are kept neat and cleaned
  • Contributes to the growth of the company through a successful team
    • Empowers team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills
    • Schedules and manages bartenders
    • Oversees bartenders daily duties and ensures lunches and breaks are covered, etc
    • Fosters a pleasant working environment that inspires the team
    • Coaches and trains team members
  • Cultivates a safe working environment and follows all health and safety requirements
    • Acts responsibly, at all times, concerning the consumption of any alcoholic beverages
    • Ensures store is kept neat and tidy throughout shift
    • Becomes familiar with all safety and crime-proofing protocols, including watching for suspect behavior and reporting it as soon as possible
    • Stays informed on government regulations regarding the handling of minors, persons appearing intoxicated and suspected third party purchases and acts accordingly, including the recording of such incidents, as directed by the store manager
  • Other duties as requested


  • 3+ years of experience working in bar environment
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service
  • 3+ years supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous Beverage Alcohol Industry experience is an asset
  • Strong leadership abilities and initiative
  • Computer literate



  • Must be able to repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
    • Enthusiastic and friendly in nature
  • Excellent communication skills, must be comfortable presenting to large groups of people
  • Manages competing priorities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Adapts to fast-paced environment with changing circumstances
  • Positive can-do attitude and desire to make things happen


  • Comfortable with computers and technology
  • Familiarity with Point of Sale and ticketing Software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Scheduling and Payroll software (ADP)


  • Understands business goals and works closely with key leadership
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills
  • Self-starter
  • Able to motivate and influence others
  • Scheduling of retail associate schedule working with the Brand House operations manager


  • Wednesday through Sunday weekly
