THIS POSITION IS A TEMPORARY REPLACEMENT FOR 6 MONTHS.

Role Overview

Campari Benelux is looking for a Brand Manager to join and further strengthen its dynamic Marketing team. The Brand Manager will be in the lead of Marketing activities related to Aperol and Sarti brands, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager Aperitifs and in close collaboration with the Channel and Customer Marketing team members. He/She will play an essential role in shaping the future of Campari Benelux Italian Icons portfolio. His/her contribution will be key in the development and execution of comprehensive annual brand plans through active collaboration with a cross-functional team of passionate Camparistas.

Key Responsibilities And Activities

Brand Building and Planning

  • Responsible for Aperol brand planning and execution, translating strategies into action plans locally relevant for Benelux
  • Lead Sarti launch support and execution plan, leveraging on the Aperol Best Practice model
  • Coordinate and ensure excellence in brand plan implementation & activations “from A to Z” (Media planning, ATL, BTL, brand equity development, consumer experiential, on and off trade execution support, digital initiatives )
  • Develop catchy Consumer Engagement activities in close collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager and the Experiential Manager
  • Work closely with Global Strategic Marketing teams by providing local market insights
  • Collaborate with Off trade and On trade departments in the plans' execution

Project Management and Media Planning

  • Collaborate with agencies in plans execution (ATL, media, PR, social media, activation)
  • Collaborate with the global teams on the strategies and execution of the locally resonant initiatives
  • Lead integrated communication planning process within brand parameters, achieving performance objectives
  • Ensure all materials are consistent with strategy, on time & within budget, legally compliant and developed with input from all relevant internal stakeholders
  • Participate in and/or selectively lead other assigned projects important for brand or portfolio development
  • A&P budget management

Business Intelligence

  • Manage Consumer research projects (quali, quanti and analysis)
  • Analyse and understand drinks and consumer trends and translate it into brand strategies
  • Analyse and monitor brand development (KPI’s, brand tracking, improvement cycles, ROI measurement)
  • Generate consumer insights and intelligence to inform strategy and execution

Experience Required

Functional

  • 3–5 years' experience in marketing as Brand Manager
  • Degree in Marketing, Communication or Commercial Science. International background (Erasmus, travelling) is a plus.
  • Experience in FMCG sector and / or premium / luxury brands is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of the full marketing mix (ATL, BTL, social media campaigns, PR and influencers, media planning)
  • Digital native & passionate: high interest in new media / new communication technologies, displaying good experience of social media, search, display, email, and social listening tools
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, and French
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in using syndicated research (i.e. Nielsen)
