Job Title: Lab IT Support Engineer (Onsite)

In this role, you will be responsible for providing flawless IT support for lab instruments and their associated software applications. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of these instruments and facilitating efficient data management. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including vendors and network professionals, to successfully implement and maintain the necessary configurations.


  • Perform user administration tasks, including creating user accounts and ensuring their validity
  • Incident resolution (trouble shooting, physical check of instrument, network issue and licenses
  • Coordinate with vendors and interact with network teams to facilitate the installation of lab instruments
  • Write and update SOPs
  • Provide periodic reviews and maintenance support to instrument owners, including ensuring maintenance plans are followed and supporting firmware updates


  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Lab IT end-user support within the Pharma/Biotech
  • Industries or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with Lab instruments and lab instrument PCs
  • Be able to support users, provide system maintenance and upgrade
  • Strong communication skills
  • Install and upgrade software
  • Support first line of troubleshooting
  • Work with vendor to support OQ (make sure the instrument works)
  • Have ITIL knowledge (Incident/Change/Knowledge/Problem Management)
  • Experience with GXP practices; 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, manual testing, and
  • Knowledge of LIMS and CDS
