Weight and Balance Engineer

Responsabilities

• Contribution to weight prediction, monitoring and control within actual projects.
  Acquisition of mass properties related data based on CATIA models and drawings, including update of related databases.
• Evaluation of modifications and upgrade packages considering their impact on aircraft centre of gravity.
• Contribution to Aircraft OEM Mass Properties Support Team activities related to aircraft weighing preparation, execution and result analysis.
• Making sure that suitable methods & tools are specified and developed in order to meet the department’s targets.
• Contribution to creation and maintenance of mandatory process descriptions and handbooks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of five years' experience with weight engineering.
• Thorough knowledge of weight engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency in relevant software applications.
• Working knowledge of FAA regulations.
• Required Weight Engineer Soft Skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Fluency in English.
