Weight and Balance Engineer
Responsabilities
- Contribution to weight prediction, monitoring and control within actual projects.
Acquisition of mass properties related data based on CATIA models and drawings, including update of related databases. - Evaluation of modifications and upgrade packages considering their impact on aircraft centre of gravity.
- Contribution to Aircraft OEM Mass Properties Support Team activities related to aircraft weighing preparation, execution and result analysis.
- Making sure that suitable methods & tools are specified and developed in order to meet the department’s targets.
- Contribution to creation and maintenance of mandatory process descriptions and handbooks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of five years' experience with weight engineering.
- Thorough knowledge of weight engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications.
- Working knowledge of FAA regulations.
- Required Weight Engineer Soft Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Fluency in English.
