Business Developer
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Business Developer to join our team. The Business Developer will play a key role in driving sales and revenue growth for the company and identify and research potential Italian clients and Italian market segments to generate new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business success.
You will represent Diacron group’s services to potential customers and work towards achieving sales targets set by the management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients in Italy by leveraging your established network within target industries, including private companies, government agencies, associations, and other consultants;
- Conduct active prospecting activities and reach potential Italian clients through meetings, networking events, and other sales strategies;
- Present and demonstrate services/Group capabilities/overviews on offices to prospective customers;
- Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor solutions accordingly in collaboration with the indicate General Managers;
- Help in negotiation of terms and close sales deals effectively (if required);
- Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing and services development to ensure alignment and support in sales efforts;
- Help to develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base;
- Collaborate with General Managers of Diacron group’s offices;
- Provide feedback to the management regarding services performance, market trends, customer needs, and competitors’ activities;
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions using CRM software or other tools;
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review;
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in selling consulting services, preferably with an established network in the sector;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Good organizational and time management skills;
- Proficiency in using CRM software;
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Economics, Marketing, Law, International studies, or a related field;
- Excellent proficiency in English (and other languages if any);
Additional Information:
This position may require continuous travel within Italy to meet with clients or attend industry events.
Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate client schedules and time zone differences.
