Warehouse Solutions Design

Define requirement: Know what information to ask for obtaining sufficent and accurate information in order to build a solution. Make reasonable assumptions in the absence of key data analysis of the client’s current operation, gaps, needs and value add opportunities.
\n
Data Analysis and Solution Design: Work through and analyse client data, to be able to build a solution given a certain set of assumptions. Given the data analysis, to be able to work out space, MHE, WMS, manning and other requirements.
\n
Solution costing & proposal: Given the solution design, work out to cost using an array of techniques (Cost plus, Fixed / Variable, Activity Based). And write up the technical solution aspects of the proposal and support overall proposal.
\n
Presentation: Present solution in front of executive management teams in a professional and competent manner.
\n
Continuous Improvement: Leverage on lean principles to increase operational performance and optimize warehouse resources, creating value for internal and external stakeholders. Spearhead CIPs within the warehouse, from process gap identification to solution design and implementation, as well as operation change management.
\n
Innovation: Collaborate with subject matter experts from Operation, Innovation, Automation, WMS team and vendors to implement new technology or fine-tune existing solutions within the warehouse.

Support to organize business requirements workshop between Customers teams, WMS team, Regional team and Operations / Key Users

Analyse and summarize relevant information to support the workshop
\n
Define and implement the operational process flow (receiving, put-away, warehouse zoning, replenishment & picking strategy)

Follow-up IT developments and WMS setup/configuration with the IT and WMS team.
\n
Coordinate with procurement team for suppliers’ selections and site renovation/installation
\n
Follow-up on the management of project: Resources (both operational recruitment and resources allocated to the project), Costs and budget follow-up, Schedule and on-time milestones / delivery, Deliverables

Organize and report advancement with internal and external customers

To be successful in this role you will require the following:

Degree or Masters in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business with a relevant specialization.
\n
Contract logistics experience an advantage.
\n
Advance Skills in Microsoft Offices, especially Excel (VBA, Macro, Advance Formulas, etc).
\n
Knowledges of Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Management or Warehouse management will be a plus.
\n
Strong analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
\n
Comfortable with presenting and communicating with customers and stakeholders within all levels of the organization
\n
Good and adaptive team player with strong interpersonal skills
