Move forward as a Corporate Recruiter at DSV in Dordrecht / Rozenburg / Moerdijk

Are you that enthusiastic, motivated and independent corporate recruiter for DSV? With a keen eye for talent, up-to-date knowledge of the labour market and keen to find the best new colleagues? If so, you could start working for the nine DSV locations in the Amsterdam, Rotterdam and South-West Netherlands region. The recruitment team looks forward to hearing from you.

You get the job done

As a corporate recruiter, you are the first contact with a potential new colleague. You arrange an interview with the manager, proactively contact the candidate and, after good conversations, ask the candidate the question: "Do you want to become my colleague? Together with the recruitment team, you ensure a positive candidate experience; you contribute to it.

How do you do this? The week starts with an online weekly kick-off with your colleagues working across the Netherlands. With them you discuss the state of affairs, challenging vacancies and of course how everyone's weekend was. As a corporate recruiter, you work very closely with your colleagues. Such as Joyce and Lynn, who, as assistant recruiters, help you with the follow-up of the applications. Or with Vera, who specifically searches for the right candidate for your vacancy as a talent sourcer. The lines of communication with the two other corporate recruiters, Sanne and Manouk, are very short. They help each other with 'What to do with this vacancy' or provide each other with tips for an interview or offer. The recruitment team is a close-knit team that supports and strengthens each other.

After an extensive vacancy intake with the hiring manager, you will write your own recruiting vacancy text. And you proactively look for colleagues. You are the discussion partner at the first or second interview and give the candidate feedback on the assessments made (after you have been trained in this yourself). You do this for the nine DSV locations of various divisions in the Amsterdam, Rotterdam and South-West Netherlands region. For all office and management positions in our warehouses. In which you work closely with local HR colleagues.

Employer branding is an important part of your job. You maintain contact with schools, for instance, about internship markets, visit and attend events and ensure that both DSV (and yourself) are visible online and offline. In order to eventually get in touch with new colleagues. You get this done by also;

  • actively approaching potential new colleagues via your own network, LinkedIn and other channels;
  • keeping your own knowledge of logistics office and IT-related functions up to date;
  • constantly improving the recruitment processes, in cooperation with your colleagues and manager.

As a corporate recruiter, you work, from your base in Dordrecht, Rozenburg or Moerdijk. And you travel to the various locations in the west of the Netherlands. You will also occasionally visit other locations (e.g. Eindhoven or Venlo) for meetings or interviews. You work both independently and together with your colleagues. With the aim of finding the right candidate for that particular vacancy.

We are DSV, we grow
