Summary
As a Business Analyst at DSV, you will be responsible for analyzing business operations and identifying opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and recommend solutions that align with the company's overall strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to business operations and performance.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, recommend solutions, and develop implementation plans.
- Perform research and gather data to support business decision-making.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and other visualizations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and make recommendations for further improvements.
- Monitor depreciation values of own assets
- Monitor that assets are assigned to correct business units
- Prepare business cases with Manager
- Align Road Map to business cases and budget
- Review Inter-company billing
- Create budget in co-ordination with Corporate Finance
- Be the eyes and ears of business unit when it comes to Corporate Finance Governance
Educational background / Work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field in the transportation and logistics industry.
- Experience within the trucking industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry processes, systems, and operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Professional certification in Business Analysis or related field.
Language skills
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
Computer Literacy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
