As a part of a Group PMO you will be responsible for managing, facilitating and high-quality end delivery of global and /or regional projects, which may cover business development, process optimisation, re-organisations, process deployments, IT-systems and infrastructure.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for the development and daily leadership of the project managers including project assignment, feedback, training and all other HR related tasks

In combination with the manager role, at least 50% of the time is expected to be used on project management.

Your responsibilities:

  • Project management in accordance with the Prince2 methodology, up-to-date DSV Project Model and applicable methodologies governing the specification of the allotted project
  • Responsibility to plan, manage, deploy, mitigate risks and follow-up on assigned projects according to the defined methods (DSV Group) including:

- verification and control of KPIs

- implementation of projects

- facilitation and management of project team members

- steering communication strategy with respect to all project stakeholders

- participation in meetings with internal and external partners and customers

- timely and high-quality preparation of instructions/maps/checklists/overviews/reports about the implemented processes and project progress (according to DSV adhering standards and policies)

- maintaining close cooperation to respective DSV functions in terms of change, management and proactive business case realization planning of the project

  • Complex, proactive and solution-driven professional stakeholder management as per need and project situation in various governance set-ups (mainly internal DSV stakeholders)
  • Reporting responsibility to project stakeholders according to defined structures, i.e. project team, board, executive, but also to Group PMO Management or other identified by management relevant project stakeholders
  • Leadership in accordance with Group PMO Leadership values, based on Global HR template (team leading; motivating; planing the work of PMs; 1:1 meetings with PMs on regular basic; dealing with all HR related topics)

Our requirements:

  • Prince2 knowledge (Certification in Prince2 is an advantage)
  • 5 years’ experience managing large projects, in a large organization (Shared Service or BPO area preferably)
  • Leadership and team management skills and experience
  • Very good command of English (DSV corporate language)
  • Good understanding of basic network technologies
  • Ability to manage/develop project teams
  • Ability to motivate employees
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel abroad, up to several times a month
