Junior Immigration Consultant – Amsterdam – Full Time
We are looking for a Junior Immigration Consultant to join our Inbound Team in Amsterdam. This is a permanent, full-time position. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a true global leader and be part of an ongoing success story.

About the role:
Junior Immigration Consultant supports the business by performing high quality casework for major corporate clients.
Junior Immigration Consultant will first work on a series of highly templated immigration cases such as Renewals, in-country process, EEA registrations, but also accompany clients during visits to the authorities and offer legal support to our senior associate etc. and handle communication with clients. After the completion of a period of onboarding and training, the Junior Immigration Consultant will ensure holiday coverage for Consultants in the team and get exposure to other case types.
The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to work across multiple cultural contexts and to connect with people from other cultures.
Other key responsibilities will include:
Case Processing and all associated requirements as delegated by Manager and/or Senior Consultant
Focuses on client service and meeting client deadlines. Understand client goals, technical changes in national legislation that will impact client service delivery and incorporating this in process and systems
Ensuring that billing on cases is done on time, including attending to bill rejections and voids
Ensuring that case management systems are up-to-date and reflect case progress in real time
Raising case concerns with Senior Consultant and/or Manager at earliest point to avoid escalations
Assisting Senior Consultant and Manager to prepare training for clients when required
Follows firm procedures with respect to file maintenance, record keeping and use of firm's CRM systems
Main point of contact for allocated cases under the Manager’s supervision
Work with Manager and/or the Client Service Manager to update client protocols
Working with Manager to update Client handbooks
About you:
You are an enthusiastic team player that works methodically and always pays attention to detail, You will also need to enjoy client contact and have a strong commitment to excellent client service.
Also required:
You will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills in English and Dutch
You are highly organized and can demonstrate ability to manage your own time and caseload
Previous experience in liaising with clients in an operation role
Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Follows firm protocol in relation to having work checked prior to sending to clients
Bachelor degree preferably in Law/Legal Services, Human resources or Political Sciences
Additional language skills would be highly beneficial for this role
