About the role:
Reporting to the Frankfurt based Partners, you will play a key role in the overall supervision of staff working within the Germany Inbound practice area and the oversight of core team functions.

You will be responsible for leading a team and for the day-to-day management of client relationships and working with the Partners to strategically manage clients.

You will be responsible for assisting Partners with the successful delivery of the team’s output of work. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing operations of the team, such as monitoring work quality and work flows, work load, absence coverage, onboarding, and training. You will furthermore help identifying new work opportunities for the firm and undertaking appropriate actions to acquire new work for the practice, with the support of the Partners and other Managers

Other key responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for building and maintaining excellent client relationships and close management of complex cases

  • Senior point of contact for complex or sensitive cases

  • Lead in the preparation and delivery of presentations and meetings with clients

  • Management of a diverse network of providers and their performance and quality of support for clients

  • Oversight of diverse projects imperative to the ongoing improvement cycle of organization processes for the benefit of Fragomen and the team

  • Share best practices and provide strategic insights into complex inquiries, projects and high-profile matters

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities, as well as cross-selling opportunities

About you:

To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in a similar Senior Management level role (minimum of 5+ years) including responsibility for managing and developing a team, gained within an immigration focused environment.

The preferred candidate will also have experience in working across multiple jurisdictions and engaging with multinational organizations, managing service issues to successful solutions and account management activities such as reporting, project work and financial issues such as billings and collections. Background and knowledge in labour law and social security law are also an advantage.

Also required:

  • Fluency in German and Business English is required

  • Equally, comfortable providing leadership to others and working within a management level team

  • Highly organized, able to deliver excellent results under limited supervision

  • A team player, who takes ownership and drives for results, growing the business and sustaining intensity and optimism while focusing on the client

  • Helps create and maintain strong morale, cooperating with team members to resolve problems and achieve goals

  • Able to develop, achieve and communicate clear goals through proper use of tools, training, planning and management

  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, effective, and professional presentations

  • Delivers written communication that is well organized and concise, and in vocabulary appropriate for audience

  • Capable of managing a high number of tasks simultaneously, and setting priorities accordingly

  • Preferably registered as qualified lawyer in Germany
