Job Description
The ideal Financial Analyst will be a hands-on, self- motivated person who is detail orientated, analytical, organized. The analyst must be able to interact effectively with various internal clients within the finance department, other corporate departments, India service center, law practices on a worldwide basis. We are seeking a high-energy multi-tasker capable of managing numerous initiatives, who can work well both independently and with a team, possesses a strong work ethic and thrives in a fast-paced, demanding, and unpredictable environment.
How will you make a difference as a Financial Analyst at Fragomen?
- Assist with all activities related to the budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of legal practices or corporate departments, including uploading inputs and checking outputs
- Assist with month end and year-end closing and reporting
- Produce, maintain, and analyze current reports, including vendor/expense detail, billing, headcount and staff costs, and cost allocations
- Build financial reports, dashboards, and workflows in the EPM system
- Assist in the development and creation of a responsive and impactful reporting environment
- Support business analytics from a financial perspective
- Perform ad-hoc requests relating to FP&A function at worldwide level
- Assist with continuous improvement projects assigned by finance management

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting
- 1-3 years’ related experience
- Strong analytical skills and master data structures
- Excellent reporting skills & experienced with ERP and business intelligence tools: Elite, Excel, SAP WEBI, Tableau, Power BI, Prophix, Hyperion. Understand SQL and relational data warehouse is a plus
- Able to learn in-house and proprietary systems quickly
- Ability to handle “big” transactional data volume for reporting purpose
- Understand financial statements; experience with budgeting and forecasting process is a plus
- Have continuous process improvement mind-set
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Great team work and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to a changing and demanding environment with competing priorities
- Must be a self-starter who is able to anticipate the needs of the department
- Previous FP&A experience strongly preferred
