ApplyU.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International FinancialReporting Standards (IFRS), U.S. Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS),and Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) Auditing Standards. PerformJapanese Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR) audit. Evaluate thework requirements of audits for clients, including U.S. subsidiaries ofJapanese companies and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants.Identify accounting and audit risks, and assess effectiveness of client auditprocesses and controls. Write audit reports and present audit findings toclients in Japanese, verbally and in writing. Identify performance improvementopportunities for assigned clients. Prepare audit proposals and expand clientbase by identifying growing client portfolios. Provide training and guidance ontechnical accounting and audit methodology. Assist with tasks related toaccount administration, including billing, fee analysis, and new servicedevelopment. Direct and lead audit engagements and provide timely performancefeedback to team members. Create business development opportunities, supportclient relationships and develop professional networks.


WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting,Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, and 3 yearsof related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent inAccounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related field,and 7 years of related work experience, out of which 5 years must bepost-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Must have verbal and written fluency in Japanese.

Must have an active New York CPA license.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience withthe following: Overseeing audit engagements; Developing and executing auditstrategies and procedures; Applying U.S. GAAS and PCAOB Auditing Standards toaudit client financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP andIFRS; Perform Japanese ICOFR audit; and Testing accounting procedures andcommunicating findings to clients and upper management.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. required up to10%.

Travel to various international location required up to 5%.

SALARY RANGE: $137,114 - $224,300 per year
