KPMG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Associate to join our Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, calculate, and document R&D Tax Credits across multiple industries
  • Work as a member of the engagement team to prepare and learn to review R&D Tax Credit calculation and supporting documentation
  • Assist in performing multiple projects simultaneously, including taking notes during client interviews, preparing computations and analysis, data gathering, and writing technical memoranda
  • Help drive the success of multiple R&D engagements
  • Complete research and special projects as needed
  • Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one year of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Access
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel and work at client locations

Additional Qualifications for Senior Associate:

  • Minimum three years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate taxation experience
