Apply U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Execute external audit engagements for clients, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) registrants. Prepare and review audit work papers. Assist with audit planning and risk assessment. Communicate accounting and audit issues to clients. Understand and utilize KPMG LLP's audit methodology. Identify performance improvement opportunities for assigned clients.


WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or U.S. GAAP; Researching technical accounting issues; Communicating accounting and audit issues; Utilizing Excel for sorting data using pivot tables and writing VLOOKUP and HLOOKUP formulas; and Documenting audit procedures performed.

Travel to various locations throughout the U.S. up to 5% is required.
