Job Overview:

The Project Manager (PM), Operations, Conversions, & Integration (OCI) will be a project leader and driver within the organization responsible for coordinating and managing critical activities for conversion workstreams. The PM is accountable for delivery of work stream runbooks, status reports, and escalation of RAID items. The candidate must possess strong communication, time management, organizational, and analytical skills with a good eye for identifying and understanding firm risk and regulatory guidelines as well as client experience. An ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management including agile and waterfall methodologies, familiarity with Lean Six Sigma strategies, and brokerage/financial services. Experience with financial services industry as well as knowledge of payment of commissions and advisor fees is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management function including but not limited to: managing the tasks within the runbook for conversion related activities, providing regular status reports, facilitation of internal/external meetings and providing a point of escalation and consolidation for underlying issues/risks associated with a specified tranche of work.
  • Drive collaboration between multiple LPL teams to successful identify the proper compensation strategy and deliver the executable tasks associated with that strategy tracked in the Compensation runbook.
  • Evaluate and communicate to conversion management, identified issues, risks and decisions of the conversion work.
  • Partner with others from across the firm to achieve goals and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business or a related discipline preferred)
  • 5 years’ experience in the financial services industry

  • Broad range of skills including, project management, agile, SAFE 5.0, change management, business acumen, and leadership.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to work with and influence stakeholders, other teams, and customers.
  • You can think strategically and have a good eye for what may be coming.
  • You make well educated decisions, that are fact based and metrics driven to realize goals and objectives
  • You have experience managing risk, both regulatory and firm based.
  • You can communicate effectively with all levels of the firm, specifically senior leadership from Service Center, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Technology and Internal Audit.

  • PMP, PMI
  • Sigma Black Belt or Green


Pay Range:

$85,720-$128,580/year


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
