Job Overview

The Investor Experience organization is currently hiring a Product Manager, responsible for the Advisor Digital Office products. This role is responsible for understanding advisors’ email and office communication needs (e.g. chat), and ensuring they have the tools available to meet those needs. This role will organize and lead the migration of advisor email capability from on-prem to cloud based services. The role will also be instrumental in making other Microsoft Office 365 products (e.g. Teams) available to advisors.

Responsibilities:

  • Invest time interacting with advisors to learn their email and office communication needs

  • Define product objectives, roadmaps and priorities

  • Establish success metrics for the products and deliver best outcomes for our advisors and LPL

  • Secure funding to fulfill the product objectives and manage to the approved budget

  • Partner with the Product Owner to deliver product capabilities to advisors and their staff

  • Document and manage execution-level work plans and tasks

  • Develop expertise in Microsoft email and office communication solutions (e.g. Teams)

  • Develop expertise in other vendor office communication solutions (e.g. Slack)

  • Manage existing vendor solutions and on-board new vendor solutions when needed

  • Collaborate with compliance partners to ensure solutions fulfill regulatory compliance requirements

  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team of subject matter experts and impacted resources to deliver new product capabilities effectively

  • Establish success metrics for the products and deliver best outcomes for our advisors and LPL

  • Create professional presentations that help stakeholders engage effectively in problem solving and decision-making throughout the product journey

What We’re Looking For

Ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager (different from Product Owner) and is fluent in the role/responsibilities of a Product Manager. They are experienced leading complex product transitions and avoiding business disruption. They are highly organized and make it easy for others to deliver their work. They have either direct experience managing email and office communication products, or are capable of learning them rapidly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Manager

  • 1 plus years experience with operational teams, processes and tools needed to ensure resources are effective

  • 1 plus years experience forecasting funding needs and championing for those funds during planned and off-cycle funding events

  • 1 plus years experience managing 3rd party solutions and relationships

  • Strong risk management background; able to work with effectively with Compliance, Legal and Risk to identify and manage product risks.

  • Strong bias for action; takes initiative and overcomes obstacles to achieve deliverables within required timelines

  • Develops and delivers professional presentations, using storytelling to engage the audience towards a specific objective

  • Comfortable interacting directly with advisors both 1:1 and in large groups

  • Curious learner who develops hands-on expertise in their products and related processes

  • Effective at delivering new capabilities using Agile methodology

  • Positive leader who demonstrates LPL values and inspires the best in others

Preferences:

  • Experience with Office 365 email and office communication solutions

  • Experience in Wealth Management


Pay Range:

$103,120-$154,680/year


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
