We are looking for a Software Developer/Tech Lead who will be part of the Technology organization that is responsible for providing solutions for advisors and the home office
As a Tech Lead, guide the team’s development efforts towards successful project delivery and application support
Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction
Design, develop, test and implement technical solutions based on premise and on AWS in a Containerized / MicroServices Architecture
Provide technical leadership to teammates through technical design, code reviews and implementation of best practices, adhering to LPL’s SDLC and RM processes.
Collaborate with other Development teams, Enterprise Architecture and Support teams to design, develop, test and maintain the various platforms and their integration with other systems.
Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform road map.
Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and enhance existing systems.
Communicate with technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis as part of product/project support
What are we looking for?

5+ years of experience in a Lead capacity, guiding the team’s development efforts towards successful project delivery and application support
10+ years of experience in hands-on design and implementation of complex systems, including data and reporting.
5+ years of experience integrating with third-party systems through building API gateways, creating SOAP and REST based service interfaces to deliver fast, reliable and scalable integration.
5+ years of experience with AWS end-to-end cloud development, deployment, fine-tuning for scalability and performance.
5+ years of experience with full stack business and integration/data tier and reporting development experience with .Net Core (utilizing C# & SQL Server).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and non-technical
Strong estimation, foresight, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to interface with customers to gather business needs and to present solutions
Capable of effectively planning, prioritizing and executing tasks utilizing resources and tools
Experience working with remote teams and contingent workers/SOW
Experience using Agile & Waterfall methodologies
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
Object Oriented Programming and SOLID design experience
Experience using modern application/API containerization and container orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx etc.
Cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
Reporting and Data experience are very much preferred
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
