Job Overview:
As the Sales Trainer, you’ll drive the development of timely, relevant learning opportunities for our high-performing sales team. You’ll work with sales leadership and field team members to design and deliver actionable, practical education that ultimately enhances team performance and increases sales velocity.
Responsibilities:
Create and deliver training content covering sales skills and organizational knowledge, including live classroom training, virtual learning, recorded programming, and bi-annual sales meetings
Manage the execution of a sales training program calendar that serves the unique needs and tenure of all parts of the sales organization
Design programmatic sales curriculum to teach best practices and improve sales acumen for all stages of the sales process
Develop and execute team onboarding curriculum for various roles within the sales organization
Facilitate office hours, coaching, and other opportunities to reinforce sales skills
Implement a tracking system to measure program effectiveness, identify gaps, and find actionable opportunities for continued optimization
Create skill and knowledge assessments to benchmark and evaluate development progress
Regularly update key stakeholders on the status of projects and programming, performance results, and go-forward plans
Work with Sales Enablement team members to design training that supports technology enhancements, organizational change, and other initiatives to ensure seller confidence
Drive a culture of continuous learning and development within the sales organization, encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of our company and capabilities, as well as the LPL selling system and competitive landscape
Keep up to date with sales industry and adult learning trends and best practices

Requirements:
10+ years of training or learning and development experience, preferably in a sales capacity
Bachelor’s degree in communications, psychology, business, education, or similar
Familiarity with B2B sales process
Financial services industry preferred
Project management experience preferred

Pay Range:
$138,160-$207,240/year
