Job Overview:

The LPL Financial Institutional Marketing Team is seeking an Assistant Vice President Content Manager with a deep knowledge of digital marketing, content development, content management as well as solid knowledge of traditional marketing tactics to support our fast-growing Institution business.

In this newly created position, you will partner with SMEs from across LPL including Digital Marketing, Content Strategy, Marketing Operations, Product Management, Product Marketing, Client Marketing, Marketing Solutions, etc. to understand the unique needs and requirements, build a content strategy and deliver a curated digital content experience via a dedicated, customized online Resource Center for one of our largest institutional clients. Messaging and content should be relevant and segmented to meet the needs of our 3 target audiences: Executives, Program Managers and Advisors. You will lead/drive the identification and curation of content that supports onboarding, maintaining their business, and supporting growth opportunities through articles, white papers, videos, infographics, collateral, tip sheets, fact sheets and more. By establishing measurement and reporting mechanisms, you will seek opportunities to test, learn and evolve the experience. Strong project management and organization skills are key.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a targeted content strategy aligning with the audience needs as well as the contractual obligations for one of our largest institution clients.

  • Lead cross-functional team to identify applicable content across Products, Platforms, LPL Research, News, Help Center, Compliance, and Manage Your Business.

  • In close partnership with the Resource Center product owner, stand up a dedicated, personalized online resource center.

  • Establish processes to monitor, maintain, enhance and curate new content.

  • Develop and implement editorial calendar in partnership with cross-functional team.

  • Support development of marketing content aligned with growth opportunities as needed.

  • Provide reporting and insights on performance of the Resource Center.

  • Interface/partner with our institution client to represent Resource Center performance and content calendar.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.

  • 5+ years experience in marketing and digital marketing.

  • 2+ years of traditional marketing efforts, GTM strategies, and content marketing strategies

Core Competencies:

  • Strong collaborator and partner.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Preferences:

  • Some exposure to marketing automation and customer journey development.

  • Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms.

  • Familiar with working in an Agile framework.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud Workspace.

  • Knowledge of content tagging and enterprise-level taxonomy.

  • Salesforce experience.

  • Financial services experience strongly preferred

  • Good understanding of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Hubspot, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and SalesForce Marketing Cloud.

  • Knowledge of publishing and governance best practices for Adobe Experience Manager and multiple channel/audience content distribution.


Pay Range:

$102,000-$153,000/year


Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
