Job Overview:

Our team is actively seeking a motivated and talented Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test who is passionate about testing software through automation. You will be part of an inter-disciplinary team of hardware, firmware, software, system, and test engineers to develop and integrate cutting-edge technologies for Financial Services Company building E2E automation solutions connecting Advisor Platform, Investor Platform and Teammates. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to understand features, develop and automate test cases, improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production.

Responsibilities:

• Actively Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and lead where applicable – PI Planning , Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Defect Review, Sprint Demo, Retrospectives etc.

• Actively participate in story grooming, analyze and understand user story acceptance criteria

• Develop and execute -Test plan, test cases based on the user stories and ensure proper test coverage, data scenarios relevant to salesforce application and integrated apps.

• Perform in sprint testing, service/API testing, Integration / E2E testing, regression final build certification and release day testing

  Automating tests using internal and open source tools & infrastructure

• Working with software engineers to understand product architecture, integrations, and features.

  Analyzing test results, being a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process

• Documenting, tracking bugs to closure and reports on Project status to stake holders

• Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where resourcefulness, determination, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success.

• Positive attitude and the ability to complete assigned objectives with minimal supervision.

• Show leadership experience in leading releases / project delivery. Driving actions & shift left strategy to improve Quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science or similar, plus 8+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree, Computer Science or similar, plus 10+ years of experience OR no degree, plus 15+ years of experience working as a Developer or QA Engineer or SDET working in Agile scrum teams

• Strong Hands on experience with Salesforce application, UI , Web services Testing and automation development

• Strong hands on working experience Salesforce Sales Cloud – CRM experience Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, product customization, Integrations to third party clients/tools

• Experience with SQL and ability to understand/write complex SQL queries

• Hands on experience with CI /CD

• Hands on programming/development experience in one of the programming languages: Java, JavaScript and automation frameworks like Selenium, rest assured, TestNG, etc.

• Hands on experience with test processes, test methodologies, test strategy, test plan and test case design & execution.

Core Competencies:

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment where resourcefulness, determination, and strong problem-solving skills are necessary for success.

• Positive attitude and ability to take ownership on releases/ features / stories / tasks to deliver with quality.

Preferences:

• Salesforce Certification a plus.

• Fluent in API and UI testing and creating automation test suits

• Financial Industry experience

Pay Range:

$92,240-$138,360/year

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
