GENERAL FUNCTION

The Team Lead receives and consolidates all supply, product and equipment required for a new, remodel or relocation store deployment. Meets scheduled dates for delivery by turnover date of all items to store location. Meets customer requirements in consolidation, palletization and load sequencing of items with high accuaracy to support quick turnaround of store opening. Provides feedback and input to customers of special requests and initiatives. Prepares product for stores to receive and stock. Identifies delays and risks upstream and works with customer patners to minimize impact and improve. Works with other departments to meet required goals for equipment and shipping needs.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives all items for new, remodel and relocation stores.
  • Consolidates items by identified departments.
  • Ships to meet all scheduled turnover dates to ensure successful store opening.
  • Monitors weekly Store Opening Report to identify any schedule changes.
  • Works with customers to support new rollouts, brands and initiatives.
  • Completes scheduled brand conference calls.
  • Provides daily/weekly KPIs for department metric reporting.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience as a Merchandise Handler
  • Multi-tasking, high accuracy, drive for efficiency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer Relations experience
  • Retail experience
  • Excellent oral and written skills

 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
