Job Title: Senior Associate
Location: This position reports to the NY Life office in Dallas, TX. Applicants may work from a Home Office within a commutable distance of Dallas, TX
Offered Wage: $184,180.10/year
Duties: Designs and implements high-quality components and solutions within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform. Develops AEM solutions by implementing creative solutions that leverage the capabilities of the platform and support reusability and scalability. Performs hands-on coding of templates, components, TouchUI dialogs, workflows, Sling Models, and OSGi services. Optimizes dispatcher caching behavior and works with Business Analysts to translate creative designs into functional requirements and technical designs. Designs new concepts, strategies or innovative approaches to development execution with significant impact. Integrates RESTful APIs and third-party systems with AEM and creates and executes JUnit tests. Contributes to the advancement of coding styles and "best practices" to enhance component libraries and meet accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.0 AA), security standards, and protocols; guides junior team members and vendor resources in their use through a pattern library. Creates testing prototypes to ensure designs meet business and user objectives.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems or Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three (3) years of software development experience using Java/JEE, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Or, alternatively:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems or Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years of software development experience using Java/JEE, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Requires Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer certification
Experience must include 3 years in each of the following skills:
- Coding in Java within the J2EE platform and performing JUnit testing;
- Implementing applications using advanced coding techniques, frameworks, and reusable services, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.4+, Apache Sling, CRX, Apache Felix, Sightly/HTL, Sling Models, Touch UI, Jackrabbit, Java Content Repository, OSGi, Adobe Marketing Cloud Solutions, UNIX, Apache Web Server, Dispatcher, and AEM Digital Asset Management;
- Participating and collaborating with Agile teams to effectively plan and execute deliverables for each Sprint and performing peer code reviews;
- Building and deploying applications using Git, Maven, and Jenkins; and,
- Performing software development and configuration using Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
