This position involves a hybrid work schedule - working remotely: Monday & Friday / on site: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Direct mail is the major channel of NYL Marketing with a proven track record of delivering successful results. As a Senior Marketing Strategy and Analytics Associate, you will be a part of the Direct Mail strategy from campaign development through execution and monitoring. This role necessitates a hard-working individual with analytical skills, attention to detail and an attitude of seeking continuous improvement. Prior direct mail experience helpful but not required. This is a unique opportunity to be a part of a small team doing big things.
- Manage data driven execution of Direct Mail campaigns throughout all stages: from strategic planning to production hand-off.
- Use critical thinking and analytics to drive post-campaign evaluations. Develop and present recommendations on performance trends and Test & Learn results.
- Utilize various sources to derive insights and drive sales growth through interpreting data and presenting findings to marketing leadership
- Assist with planning, forecasting and variance analysis for Direct Mail and Print acquisition campaigns and strategic initiatives
- Collaborate closely with internal (Compliance, Production, Creative, Product Strategy) and external (Data, Agencies, and Print vendors) partners to understand business needs, ensure high execution quality, overcome challenges and deliver results.
- Partner with Digital and Telesales teams on cross-channel marketing opportunities.
- Provide Mail Plan overviews in business forums. Will interact with NYLD leadership and external vendors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Operations, Information Systems or another quantitative field preferred
- 3+ years related experience required
- Strong quantitative skills, Microsoft Office Suite and database/query applications knowledge (SQL/R)
- Knowledge of database structure, queries, and reporting techniques
- High degree of responsibility for leveraging database querying, analyzing data, summarizing results. End user Business Intelligence software experience (PowerBI, Tableau, MicroStrategy etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to navigate data and apply it in support of making valuable strategic decisions, to drive growth and innovation in the channel
- Ability to manage data driven Direct Mail Marketing campaigns execution and performance monitoring across multiple segments and products
- Ability to apply quantitative analysis and critical thinking to solve complex and time sensitive issues. May need to handle multiple concurring priorities with minimal guidance.
- Requires a motivated professional with a passion for data and high degree of intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work collaboratively with their supervisor to recommend more efficient procedures for campaign management & execution and implement them.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. This position provides information on timelines, deliverables, testing and results to various stakeholders both inside and outside the organization.

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
