Looking for a Top-Notch experienced Recruiter for the long-term. Salary range: $75,000 - $150,000

Title: “Northwestern Mutual Director of Recruitment & Selection”

This role is responsible for recruitment and selection efforts for the Fiedler District offices in Monroeville & Lemont Furnace, PA. This role will execute office recruiting plans to reach monthly activity and yearly full-time contract goals.

This position involves performing functions that allow the recruiting team to efficiently attract, recruit, select & contract outstanding Financial Advisors. The Recruiter role has an overall understanding of the recruitment & selection process. This position requires a high degree of organization, attention to detail, the drive to reach monthly goals & the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of individuals.

Primary responsibilities:

Sourcing

· Build and develop qualified lead strategies from a variety of sources: Referrals from Northwestern Mutual Advisors & staff, your own sources such as centers of influence within your community network, as well as college campuses. Other sources may include advertising, career fairs, & social media.

· Manage online/ social media recruiting: candidate sourcing, resume mining, job postings.

· Actively participate in community networking events to promote our brand & career opportunities at Northwestern Mutual.

· Coordinate advertising and marketing strategies to include ads, direct & electronic mail, community events, etc.

· Develop relationships with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices.

· Develop branding strategies to reach diverse markets (i.e. Vibrant Pittsburgh, etc.)

Selection

· Review resumes, screen candidates, schedule & conduct initial interviews, administer profile assessments, and manage candidates through the entire selection process.

  • Master information and language regarding all aspects of the Financial representative career and each step of the selection process.

· Maintain candidate files throughout the interviewing process.

· Collaborate on Network Office team events.

  • Assist in office selection process events such as “Road Map to Success” set-up and take down.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies for the full-time & intern selection process.
  • Collaborate with team to develop & execute on creative strategies to build & maintain candidate relationships.

Accountability, Tracking and Analysis

· Track & report daily, weekly & monthly recruiting activity to leadership team.

· Manage reports for weekly leadership team/consultant meetings.

· Develop proficiency and use of home office-supported software to maintain candidate databases and accurate records of prospects to ensure efficiency of the selection process.

· Analyze recruiting ratios to identify inefficiencies in selection process; establish and implement improvements.

  • Track office recruiting contests & recognition.

Qualification Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Sales & Recruitment experience preferred
  • One to three years’ professional work experience & coordinating with team members is preferred

· Experience with prospecting; generating leads via phone or face-to-face interactions preferred

· Strong personal network and/or community involvement to leverage from a recruiting perspective

  • Demonstrated ability to work professionally as a team member and with all levels of people
  • Strong organization & communication skills, as well as desire to attain goals
