Parmacotto has a nationwide presence with a network of 180 agents who distribute the products via traditional channels, offering customers maximum assistance together with the opportunity of talking directly to the company. Through its own sales network, Parmacotto is able to offer a consistent level of service, even to individual sales outlets within larger groups, organised distribution and is proud of its significant commercial relationships with key groups in large-scale distribution. In recent years, Parmacotto has strengthened its own presence in foreign markets, both in Europe and in America. In countries inside and outside of Europe, the company presents a full range of both sliced and loose products. Parmacotto's presence in the American market is through Parmacotto America Inc., whose head office is in Connecticut. This company, with its network of 30 distributors, distributes products across the whole of the United States and in New York, Parmacotto is sold in many Manhattan delis and specialty stores. Parmacotto products on offer in America are not limited to sliced products (cooked hams, hams roasted with or without herbs, mortadella) but in 2006, the pre-sliced product range will be extended: Parmacotto is in fact the first company in Italy to have obtained APHIS authorisation to export pre-sliced products to the United States.
