What Are the Qualifications We Expect?
- Prepare and process all necessary documentation for ocean freight shipments, including bills of lading, shipping manifests, customs declarations, and other required paperwork.
- Accurately enter shipment details into the company's database and maintain electronic records of all documentation
- Liaise with shipping agents, carriers, customs officials, and other stakeholders to coordinate the timely processing and submission of documentation.
- Ensure that all documentation complies with relevant regulations, international trade laws, and industry standards.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to documentation, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth shipment processes
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, providing shipment status updates, and addressing any concerns related to documentation.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files of all shipping documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping requirements.
What Are the Qualifications We Expect?
- Bachelor Degree (Preferably Logistics)
- Office programs user experience.
- Previous experience in ocean freight documentation or related field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
