Venchi is seeking a highly motivated individual with business development and sales experience and a proven track record of building a market in the wholesale channel. This individual should have excellent negotiation, communication, relationship, and analytical skills. They should also be results-oriented and capable of focusing on business development, sales initiatives, marketing, and growing brand position in the wholesale market.
About the Role:
- Ensure execution of the business development objectives and meet target distribution and volume goals.
- Partner with the Venchi wholesale team, key independent & specialty accounts, and distributors in the specified market.
- Establish and develop healthy and positive working relationships with decision-makers, targeted accounts, buyers, and distributors in the given territory.
- Identify new potential clients and ensure sales execution and in-store activations.
- Be responsible for execution and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives and sell-out.
- Promote Venchi and increase its brand awareness by strengthening brand visibility and conducting staff training/education programs/demos within their accounts as well as with the distributor sales teams.
- Assist and participate in trade and consumer events.
Am I the Right Fit?
- At least 4 years of sales experience in the wholesale and CPG industry.
- Possess drive, passion, motivation, and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales, achieving ambitious targets, and being highly customer focused.
- Possess persuasive public speaking and presentation skills and the ability to close sales.
- Professional, organized, and able to thrive in a highly competitive environment.
- Able to make smart business decisions based on growing sales, profitability, and market share.
- Champion innovative ideas to boost business development and new sales opportunities in the North America market.
