Job Title: RTW Material Research Specialist/Consultant

Location: Milan, Italy

Reports To: Creative Director

POSITION OVERVIEW

The RTW Material Research Specialist/Consultant supports the RTW Design team with the selection of fabrics and leather.

Key Responsibilities:

Fabric and leather research and selection, following the Creative Director’s inputs;

Counter sourcing of fabrics to accommodate pricing and delivery needs;

Support the fabric purchasing department and the product development team to make sure that the selection meets the qualitative standards of the company;

Manage relationships with suppliers and agents in order to solve last minute requests or discuss any pricing/delivery need;

Keep an updated archive of fabrics and leather.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4/5 years experience in a similar role
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to think strategically and creatively while working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be an excellent team player with the creative design and the product development team
• Exceptional multi-tasking, proactive follow-through and problem-solving skills
