Role Overview

Campari Group is looking for a Snr Commercial FP&A Specialist to join our Finance team based in London, United Kingdom. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, this role will provide expert financial analysis, insight, and strategic partnering to our Brand and Customer Marketing teams focusing on measurement and ROI of our go-to-market spend (Trade spend + Customer & Brand Marketing). The candidate ideally would have experience with marketing measurement models and has experience partnering with senior leadership and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities And Activities

Business and Analytical Support

  • Building strong relationships with the marketing team and becoming a go-to, trusted advisor.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Customer Marketing, Brand Marketing, Research, Operations, Sales, etc.) to develop a holistic view of measurement and ROI
  • Responsible for tracking and measuring the marketing activities for campaigns and creatives
  • Commercial analysis with recommendations to improve Customer/Marketing performance in conjunction with the Leadership teams and other relevant business areas
  • You will provide insights and analysis on performance as well as monitor risks, opportunities, initiatives, KPIs and trends within the business.
  • Provide analytical support pre-/post-mortem to determine the feasibility, financial return on investment, estimated spend and forecasted targets (target KPI’s) for Commercial programs
  • Contributes to various key projects

Key Relationships

  • Internal / Local: Leadership Team, Marketing and CCM Teams (all layers), Sales, FP&A and Accounting
  • Internal / Regional: Regional FP&A, Regional IT Team
  • External: External Auditors, Consultants involved in Commercial projects being rolled out locally, Finance counterparts of customers

Essential Skills Required

Education and Experience

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field is required. Master’s degree would be a plus.
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or equivalent with strong academics.
  • Min. 5 years business experience in Commercial Finance ideally multinational FMCG companies with focus on Sales or Commercial Customer Marketing area
  • Fluent English is a must, any other foreign language is a plus
  • Experience with marketing measurement models a big plus
  • Highly analytical with advanced commercial awareness

Functional and Technical

  • Strong understanding of complex pricing and profitability simulation models.
  • Experience of analysing large sets of data and exposure to a variety of analytical tools and techniques
  • Experience of extracting and manipulating data through a variety of analytical tools and techniques
  • Outstanding analytical ability to conduct research, analyse and organise large quantities of data and resolve complex problems. Drive actionable insights from massive data sets.
  • Able to identify problems and suggest excellent implementation of solutions.
  • Advanced Excel user is a must
