General Description Of The Role

The FP&A Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the decision-making processes that drive our business forward.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the candidate will lead the FP&A and Commercial Finance processes for Campari Schweiz AG. A Commercial FP&A Specialist will report to him/her.

Overseeing the full P&L of Campari Schweiz, the FP&A manager will support Senior Management in the short-to-long term decision-making processes by delivering the right business insights to drive profitable growth.

The candidate will work cross-functionally in close partnership with Sales, Marketing and CCM functions and ensure financial stewardship of the Business, providing analysis and insights to support key business initiatives, optimize financial performance, and actively influence business decisions.

He/She will lead the forecasting, budgeting and strat plan processes of Campari Schweiz.

Key Activities & Responsibilities

  • Drive financial planning and analysis processes for Strat Plan, Budget and monthly forecasts according to Group FP&A guidelines and timing.
  • Partner with local business leaders, with focus on Sales, Marketing and CCM functions, to boost value generation by providing solid and forward-looking data driven insights, as well as what-if scenario analysis, to support strategic decision
  • Work cross-functionally to design and implement effective pricing strategies and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Deliver analysis through all the aspects of customer performance, providing pricing guidance in line with Company strategy and ensure trade spend effectiveness.
  • Support the development of Trade Term & Promo Investment strategy, partnering with Commercial function to drive value creation and profitable growth across Channels / Customers / Brands combinations.
  • Be the pivot for deployment of global FP&A initiatives in close cooperation with Group.
  • Support the TPM (Trade Promotion Management) tool implementation and improvement.
  • Responsible for the monthly managerial reporting activities with a strong focus on overall business performance (financial performance, variance analyses, profitability and organic growth driven by innovation)

Key Relationships

  • Local business functions (Sales, Marketing, CCM), Local Supply Chain, Regional and Global FP&A, GBS, IT and HR.
  • External: auditors and consultants involved in projects.

Experience & Education

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field is required. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 6 years of proven Financial Planning & Analysis experience in multinational CPG companies, with focus on long and short-term planning processes and driving business (P&L) performance.
  • Proven experience in commercial finance or revenue growth management in CPG companies (pricing, promo and trade terms management, value chains analysis and mix management).
  • Proven experience in working on challenging projects and track-record of delivering excellent results to deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with demonstrated experience in leading and driving change across the organization and positively influence management.
  • Leadership skills and ability to present effectively business results and financial analysis to Senior Management and broader audience.
  • Strongly business partnering focused.
  • SAP R3 and/or S4 Hana skills are a plus (BW and BPC Planning tools are preferred).
  • Advanced excel user is a must. Power BI is a plus.
  • Must have fluent spoken and written English; working ability in german is a plus.
