Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice, we intend to recruit a BI Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. Roles and responsibilities:

As the Data Integration Lead, you will be pivotal in driving the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining data mappings, transformations, and workflows for complex integration processes while ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the integration lifecycle. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data integration team, conduct code reviews, and identify process improvements and automation opportunities. As a key team member, you will stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data integration and cloud analytics, collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope and requirements and provide regular project status updates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data integration solutions with Informatica IDMC.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, and workflows for complex integration processes.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based data warehousing and analytics solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the data integration team.
  • Define and implement data integration strategies and best practices with architects and stakeholders.
  • Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and guidelines.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in data integration and cloud analytics.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Provide regular project status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Proven experience as a CDI/CAI Tech Lead or similar role in data integration and cloud analytics.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC (e.g. IICS, IDQ, IDD).
  • Strong understanding of data integration concepts, modeling, and warehousing principles.
  • Experience with public sector projects and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft or other integration platforms is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
