Title - Junior Business Analyst - Capital Markets

Location – Whippany NJ (Hybrid)

Duration – Fulltime

Key Responsibilities

  • Worked independently to elicit, validate, and document system requirements in BRDs and user stories, based on the SDLC in use by development teams.
  • Supported testing strategies by inputting into the coverage of test scenarios and conditions, ensuring all requirements within scope were tested.
  • Collaborated with test teams and SMEs to resolve defects related to requirements and design, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Planned and executed migrations of users and transactions in coordination with functional or business areas and SMEs.
  • Assisted in performing system training for new users and released functionalities, enhancing user adoption and understanding.

Required Skills

  • Junior BA with Capital market exp in providing support to the Lead Business Analyst helping to define analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation.
  • Will work in the build out of IHC Basel IV Regulatory Capital program across calculator and reporting workstreams.
  • Work independently to elicit validate and document systems requirements in either BRDs or user feature stories depending on the SDLC in use by the development teams.
  • Support the Testing Strategy and input into the coverage of Test scenarios and conditions ensuring all requirements in scope are tested where applicable during testing own the resolution of defects pertaining to requirement and design working with test teams and SMEs Where applicable work with functional or business areas and SMEs to plan migrations of users and or transactions.
  • Participate in helping to perform system training for new users or when new functionality is released.
  • Strong analytical skills, methodical approach with good attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid background and 3-5 years of experience in US Bank regulatory risk reporting projects.
  • Knowledge of credit risk processes CCR RWA EAD etc across various products SFT cleared bilateral derivatives.
  • Experience in delivering projects using Agile methodology.
  • Experience of working with Queries and Data Models
