Overview

The material planner is responsible for the acquisition and supply management, he/she will be in control of controlling the supply of raw materials and is responsible for the creation of the forecast that will impact other planning areas.

What will you do in this role?

• Analyze our stakeholder’s needs and create a material resource plan that aids in its achievement.
• Supervise and administer both the local and foreign purchases that have a direct impact in the Material Resource Planning area.
• Interact with providers and support areas such as material quality and procurement to guarantee the proper execution of the developed material plans.
• Supervise and adjust the inventory level to guarantee the availability of resources during the material plan’s execution time span.

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of experience in material resource planning.
• Previous experience working within the mass consumption industry is desirable.
• Strong knowledge in SAP, Oracle or any other similar ERP is a must.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Medium – advanced English proficiency.
• Medium – advanced Excel proficiency.
