Your future tasks:

• Taking end-to-end responsibility for the solution across transition, run, and transformation in the IMS Tower area.
• Developing IMS Tower solution-related elements with the support of specialists such as the BID Manager, Solutions Architect, and Solution Specialist.
• Providing detailed costing model, including inputs from SMEs, licenses, 3rd party services, HW/SW, etc.
• Working with other members of the IMS Tower team to align on solutions RACI and RAIDE and to avoid gaps and overlaps.
• Clearly articulating the basis of any subcontractor/supplier (e.g.: OSS provider or software supplier) quotes, including assumptions and exclusions, and the validity period of pricing – working directly with Capgemini procurement or subcontractors.
• Supporting the Commercial Lead with the draft/mark-up of the schedules relating to your part of the solution (SoW, SLA, etc.).
• Driving end-to-end process services related to Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and winning client engagements.
• Preparing and delivering solutions, product presentations, and demonstrations to customers.
• Bringing in market intelligence from a portfolio "competitiveness" standpoint, both from the global and regional markets. Key areas are analyzing the client buying patterns, price points, and third-party analyst views on the portfolio.
• Having a good grasp of similar portfolios available in the market, with the ability to analyze, stitch, and customize some of the core portfolio services and solutions, as per specific client needs.
• Recognizing potential transformation opportunities and their impact on the run.

Our Requirements:

General

  • At least five years of experience in presales solutions with an emphasis on end-to-end Solution Management (Run services and Project area).
  • At least three of operational and services delivery experience in the following streams with in-depth domain expertise in at least two of the following streams: Server (e.g.: Wintel, Linux, Unix), Storage (e.g.: NAS NetApp, SAN VMAX), Network (e.g.: Cisco Nexus, Cisco Meraki), Databases (e.g.: Oracle, SQL, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL), and Middleware (e.g.: WebSphere).
  • Aptitude in cost estimations Infrastructure Management Services and delivering information from the market and preparing strategy for a specific BID ie.: taking part in full pre-sales lifecycle from RFI responses/requirements analysis, running a scoping exercise or engaging in a prototype of concept for agreed requirements.
  • Fluent English and German, both spoken and written.

Technical

  • Wide understanding and knowledge of network server management tools, infrastructure management platforms, automated monitoring & alerting systems, troubleshooting software, configuration management database (CMDB) software, and IT asset & inventory management tools.
  • Proficiency in developing formal sales proposals, and responses to RFIs, RFPs, RFQs.

Commercial

  • Performing risk assessments, price modelling, building cost cases, defending solutions and cost models.
  • Understanding and identifying non-standard requirements and drafts e.g.: SoW, SLA, cost models, business cases, proposal responses, proposal presentations and project plans.
  • Demonstrate experience presenting technical topics in front of a senior audience, including CxO levels.

Management

  • Solutions management in BID team working within IMS Tower; ability to coach, steer, challenge, and guide.

Customer engagement

  • Developed proficiency in performing presales level consulting and due diligence type work for complex deals to ensure smooth transition to actual delivery teams.

Financial

  • Costing skills and understanding of competitive benchmarks/metrics for IMS Tower, creating Cost Models, and Statements of Work.
  • Estimation of labor intensity and experience in creating labor intensity estimates for human resource effort.
