Our Insights and Data team helps our clients make better business decisions by transforming an ocean of data into streams of insight. Let us talk about the roles and responsibilities:

Capgemini is looking for an experienced Data Architect to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and optimizing data architectures that align with the organization’s data strategy. You’ll work closely with business leaders and data engineers to ensure data systems support decision-making and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop data architectures, including data models, and data flows, aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to identify data-driven opportunities, define requirements, and develop business cases that support investment in data solutions.
  • Lead the development and optimization of data integration processes, including ETL/ELT workflows, to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency.
  • Guide cloud data architecture, including the use of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,) for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure data architecture supports analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging data technologies and make recommendations for adoption to enhance data capabilities.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in data architecture, data management, or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database management systems.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS or Azure) and big data technologies.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases, including ROI analysis, to justify data initiatives.
  • Proficient in data governance, data quality management, and data security practices.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
