About the job you’re considering

This role provides the opportunity for you to deliver consultancy and project management assignments centred on securing Operational Technology (OT) and thereby help our clients mitigate the risks of vulnerabilities in their OT environment.
Capgemini’s Operational Technology (OT) Security team has been established for over 14 years. We provide consultancy and managed services to our clients in order to: help them understand the current security posture of their OT environments; identify where potential gaps or vulnerabilities exist; propose and introduce solutions to mitigate gaps and vulnerabilities; and operate and monitor these solutions thereafter.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of preemployment checks, including: identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

Your role

As an Operational Technology Security Consultant, you’ll deliver security activities across one or more of the following areas:

  • Conduct site surveys to help clients identify the systems in their OT environment (including offshore environments)
  • Conduct system and network security compliance assessments to assess vulnerabilities in OT environments and Facilitate risk assessments to assess and mitigate the identified vulnerabilities in OT environments.
  • Develop OT policies and procedures to support clients reduce the risk of a security breach at an installation and sustain OT security.
  • Conduct audits and gap analysis to assess client compliance against policies and procedures to ensure on going protection against security incidents, perhaps with remediation and Provide general OT security advice to help clients address OT security issues and ensure safe, continuous production operations

Your skills and experience

Tangible experience in one or more of the following:

  • Working, with a focus on security, in OT environments across industries such as Energy, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Pharmaceutical and Manufacturing
  • OT-related Network Architecture, Inventory Gathering, Situational Review, Endpoint Protection, Policy & Governance, Standards, Education & Awareness
  • Working in a consulting capacity or within an organisation’s OT environment to establish roadmaps to improve their current security posture and develop the functional and operational processes and procedures to support their mission.
  • Leading an assessment or evaluation of an OT environment to include execution of the assessment, analysis of results, and formulation of a final report for dissemination to key stakeholders.
  • Evaluating and assessing large organisations from the standpoint of OT and the security controls applied to OT.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteria and requirements.
Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
