Job Description
- Deliver platform customization while conforming to best practice recommendations and client’s policy
- Transform functional requirements into detailed technical designs that translate to actionable development tasks
- Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to identify ways to simplify the user experience
- Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, and technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled jobs, import sets and transform maps, ACLs, and notifications
- Participate in problem analysis, code review, and system design
- Develop scripts and code for API’s and web service integrations
- Develop necessary development documentation as needed e.g., project plan, technical design, developer notes, user manual, etc.
- Design, code, debug, document, deploy and maintain solutions in a highly efficient and effective manner
- Performs migration activities Dev to QA, QA to Prod.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow that support business requirements
- Excellent written and verbal skills to effectively communicate quality technical and functional system specifications
Job Description - Grade Specific
- ServiceNow platform in a development or administration role (CSA certification is required)
- Experience in Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance processes and requirements. Trained on IRM module (GRC- CIS is desirable)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Mid Server, Integrations, LDAP, Flow Designer and SSO, API’s and Integration Hub
