Let’s talk about the role and responsibilities

You will be expected to shape and translate Business and IT strategy and needs into realizable, sustainable technology solutions. You will provide insight, thought leadership, and innovation to ensure that the solution meets the client’s business goals. You will ensure that the solution is designed for production and can be delivered efficiently while making sure that the solution has integrity (is safe, secure, and compliant). You will be responsible for creating technical solution descriptions (High-Level Design and Detailed Design documentation) through collaboration with the customer team and colleagues.
Guide and mentor development teams, providing technical direction, code reviews, and support to ensure adherence to architectural principles, coding standards, and best practices.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects, and other technical stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall IT architecture and standards

  • Building the architecture and managing delivery of complex software development projects.
  • Leading the technical design process coordinating stakeholders towards an agreed solution.
  • Providing leadership, designing solutions, ensuring quality outcomes, and overseeing the development and execution of project delivery.
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders and working closely with the practice to identify further opportunities.
Let’s talk about your capability and experience:

  • You have experience working as Architect, including being responsible for Solution Architecture Document (SAD) or similar
  • Previous design development experience using technologies such as .Net, C#, Web API or Java, J2EE
  • Experience in defining Integration Roadmaps & Architecture and/or working with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS or GCP, etc.)
  • Knowledge of different industry best practices in API, integration & Microservices
  • Familiar with agile ways of working and DevOps
  • You have a higher diploma (e.g. Bachelor or Masters degree) or similar
  • You have strong communication skills
Preference will be given to candidates who are located in Auckland and work ready with New Zealand work rights.
